A Guide to Using Bangkok’s BTS-MRT Skytrain
The BTS and MRT are independent transport networks. That means you need to buy separate tickets if you change between the two systems. At the moment you can’t use the same ticket on both networks. There is a third network, the Airport Rail Link (ARL) which is also independent and requires its own ticket. In 2022, a fourth network, the Dark Red Line SRT, became operational. (Note: the Dark Red Line SRT is not shown on the map above yet).
THEE Bangkok Hotel is located near the Asok BTS Skytrain station, just 700 meters away. It is situated on Sukhumvit Soi 21, close to Terminal 21. You can conveniently choose to travelby the Sukhumvit MRT. (Blue line)

Which exit to take at Asok BTS station?
- Exit 1
Exit 1 leads to Sukhumvit Soi 19 and bus stop with bus to Phromphong. If you take EXIT 1, you will also get to Terminal 21 Shopping Mall on Level M. - Exit 2
Exit 2 at Asok BTS Station leads to Sukhumvit Soi 12 and bus stop with buses bound for Nana. - Exit 3
Exit 3 takes you to MRT Sukhumvit Station on Thanon Asok Montri Street. To the Siam Society Museum, to Srinakharinwirot University and to the Terminal 21 Shopping Mall in Level M. If you follow Exit 3 you will also get to the MRT station Sukhumvit - Exit 4
Exit 4 gives access to Sukhumvit Soi 14 and 16, Ratchadaphisek Road and Benjakitti Park.
What is there near Asok BTS Station?
- North: North of Asok BTS Station lies the knowledge society Siam Society towards Phetchaburi MRT Station.
- South: To the south is Benjakitti Park
- West: To the west is the Nana entertainment district area.
- East: In the east there is a densely populated commercial area with numerous skyscrapers and the Srinakharinwirot University (Prasarnmit Campus).
